UPDATE 9/9/2010: This unit has been out for awhile now, and the criticisms are rising steadily, no longer handiest right here at Amazon, however other web sites as smartly. The criticisms, that floor both immediately or inside 6 months are: Leaking containers,motors that burn out emitting an electrical scent that on occasion will shuttle your circuit breakers, container lid is difficult to do away with and put back on, awful customer support (from the healthmaster web page and now not amazon), and now, a poster mentioned that the container isn't protected to use as a result of the plastic, and will emit chemical compounds into your food! Now, QVC is selling a new and enhanced Healthmaster, called the Healthmaster VS. It is now BPA free, (the container on this one isn't)they nixed the digital show and the design went back to the outdated Jack La Lanne model the use of flip switches and dials. There are already poor assessments of the new desktop.

I am sorry I failed to heed the warnings that had been already posted. I idea one thing with a a hundred year guarantee had to be excellent. Well the entire thing you see on the infomercial is contradicted in the instruction guide. Montel says "make soup in 8 min stroll away and do something else." WRONG, Never depart it unattended! Hold onto the handle as is is huge and powerful. He fills it to the brim...well there have to be some reduce and edit time because it doesn't instanly make a fruit and veg smoothie. You cannot fill greater than 2/3 full. I adopted the guidance became it on BZZZZZZZZZ, STRUGGLLLLLLEEE. Used the tamper and all my potential, it overheated ahead of the smoothie was accomplished.
Mention was manufactured from rust. I had a hasslesome time getting that but now I now why. The backside plate is like naked forged iron as in skillet. Mine is already starting to rust earlier than I had it out of the box. Yes it's going to be rusting.
Part of mine is most likely as a end result of UPS throwing it on the home. Now it's marked FRAGILE with and up arrow. I used to be sitting through the window I saw him....
